The score that ranks you

The wall is sorted by lifetime users, the historical total your network has produced since the season began. That total never goes down: spending in-game currency on generators does not cost you rank.

The score is computed by the server, never by your browser. Because production is deterministic, the server stores your state and a timestamp, then recomputes your total on every read. A value sent by the client is never taken at face value.

What money buys

Paying buys speed, in two forms: a subscription that multiplies your production while it is active, and one-shot accelerators (temporary multiplier, boosted offline gains, era skip, instant charge).

A paying player produces faster. They therefore climb higher, sooner, provided they play. That is all paying does.

What money does not buy

The golden rule: no amount of money buys a rank directly, and no rank is reserved, sold or negotiated.

• No position in the ranking can be purchased, at the top or anywhere else.
• No rank is granted manually or bundled into a commercial offer.
• No score is credited on purchase: paying changes a production rate, never a total.
• No search-engine ranking is promised. We sell measured traffic, not positions in Google.

A subscription does grant a "Pro" badge and a richer profile. It marks a subscription and nothing else: it certifies no identity and says nothing about rank.

An account that pays but does not play does not climb. A multiplier applied to zero production yields zero production.

Diminishing returns

There is no spending cap, but each additional multiplier purchase returns less than the previous one: the curve is sub-linear. Spending a hundred times more does not make you a hundred times more powerful, nowhere near.

On top of that, in an exponential economy, multiplying your production by a given factor only buys you a time advantage on the order of its logarithm. In practice a large multiplier remains a modest lead, one that playing can close.

Seasons

A season lasts four weeks. At the end, the wall resets for everyone and a new season starts.

• The season's number one is engraved in the hall of fame, permanently.
• Consumable accelerators do not carry over between seasons.
• Permanent items (badges, cosmetics) are kept: they have no effect on score.

Segmented rankings

Alongside the overall wall, parallel rankings single out the best player who has never paid anything and the strongest climbers of the period. Each has its own podium, so a real summit is reachable without spending a cent.

This is not gambling

Lemur distributes no monetary winnings, neither cash nor goods convertible into cash, at any rank and at any time.

The reward for ranking is visibility: placement on the site, a public link and a click counter. There is no stake, no prize pool and no payout based on rank. The service therefore does not fall within gambling regulation.

Fairness and anti-cheat

• Tap gains are capped server-side at a humanly achievable rate: automating clicks provides no advantage.
• Multiple accounts used to inflate a score, like automation scripts, lead to removal from the ranking.
• Displayed visitor counters are deduplicated: the same visitor counts once per period, so they reflect real traffic rather than a raw click volume.
• Any score correction following abuse is applied to the public wall, including retroactively within the current season.

Outbound links

All outbound links from paid entries carry the rel="sponsored" attribute. They keep their full traffic and brand value, without attempting to influence search-engine rankings.

Changes to these rules

These rules may change, in particular for balancing. Any change is published on this page with its update date. A change affecting how rank is computed is not applied retroactively to a season already under way.
