Purpose of the service

Lemur is an online growth game with a public ranking. The score that determines rank is computed by the server from the production accumulated by the player. How the ranking works in detail is set out in the ranking rules, which form an integral part of these terms.

Account

• An account is required to play and appear in the ranking.
• An account is personal. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for actions taken from your account.
• The service is not intended for people under fifteen.
• Creating multiple accounts in order to influence the ranking is prohibited.

Rules of conduct

The following are prohibited in particular: automating play with a script or bot, exploiting a technical flaw, any attempt to write directly to game data, and any manoeuvre intended to distort the ranking or the click counters.

Content you publish (handle, display name, tagline, link, artwork) is subject to the content policy, which also forms an integral part of these terms.

User content

You retain your rights in what you publish. You grant the publisher, for as long as it remains published, a non-exclusive right to display it on the site, in share cards and on the public ranking pages, including pages indexable by search engines.

You warrant that you hold the necessary rights in those elements and are solely responsible for their lawfulness.

Moderation, suspension and termination

In the event of a breach of these terms or of the content policy, the publisher may remove content, remove an entry from the wall, suspend or close the account. Manifestly unlawful content is removed without notice.

You may request the closure of your account at any time from the contact page. Closing it ends your participation in the current ranking; the effects on an ongoing subscription are governed by the terms of sale.

Availability and changes

The service is provided without any guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Interruptions may occur for maintenance, incidents or external causes.

Game balancing may change. A change affecting how rank is computed is not applied retroactively to a season already under way.

Liability

The publisher is not responsible for the content of third-party sites linked to by users, nor for the use made of the traffic received. No commercial result, audience or search-engine position is guaranteed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action.
