Content policy

On Lemur, your handle, your link and your artwork are public: they appear on the wall, in share cards and on indexable pages. This policy states what does not belong there, how to report it and what we do next.

What you publish

You remain responsible for what you publish: handle, display name, outbound link, artwork and profile text. By publishing them, you state that you have the right to use them.

Prohibited content

The following are prohibited, and this list is not exhaustive:

  • Unlawful content: incitement to hatred, harassment, threats, glorification of terrorism, child sexual abuse material, counterfeiting.
  • Sexually explicit content, as well as any content involving minors.
  • Impersonation: passing yourself off as a person, brand or institution without authorisation, including through a confusingly similar handle or image. The "Pro" badge marks a subscription, never a verified identity.
  • Malicious links: malware, phishing, scams, fake shops, deceptive redirects.
  • Spam and deceptive practices: links unrelated to the displayed profile, misleading claims, mass automated content.
  • A third party's personal data published without their consent.
  • Content infringing privacy, image rights or intellectual property rights.

Reporting content

Any content can be reported through the contact page. State the entry concerned, the reason and, where possible, a direct link. Reports about manifestly unlawful content are handled first.

Reporting in bad faith content you know to be lawful is an abuse, and may lead to suspension of the reporting account.

What we do

Depending on severity, we may hide the outbound link, remove the handle or artwork, remove the entry from the public wall, or suspend the account. Manifestly unlawful content is removed without notice.

A moderation measure does not entitle you to a refund of purchases already made where it follows a breach of this policy. Refund conditions are set out in the terms of sale.

You will be notified of the decision and its reason, and you may contest it through the contact page.

Moderation and ranking

Moderation applies to published content, never to your position in the ranking. Removal from the wall following prohibited content is not a rank penalty: rank remains governed by the ranking rules, which no moderation decision alters.
